EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE CC35
Veronica assumed as Executive Director of the CC35 Secretariat on January 1, 2019 but officially ratified by the Secretary-General on September 1, 2020 with a mandate until 2024.
Interview on France 24 five years after the Paris Agreement
As Secretary of Environment of Quito, she carried out the first climate action plan and several urban conservation laws, recognized globally for her work with local governments, has represented international cooperation agencies and has been awarded as one of the environmental leaders of the region.
